Tribe Students is a welcoming space for middle and high schoolers to connect, have fun, and grow in their faith. We’re dedicated to helping students get to know Jesus, build lasting relationships, and find out what God has in store for them. We’ll explore the “fool” character in Proverbs and guide students in using wisdom to steer clear of becoming “that guy.”
You know “that guy”—the one who doesn’t appreciate wisdom, spreads rumors, always skips work, and doesn’t value spending time with Jesus.
Once we highlight what makes “that guy” so misguided, we’ll discover what it truly means to live wisely.

I’ve been involved in student ministry for more than 30 years, and I’m really dedicated to helping young people grow as disciples of Jesus. I truly believe that discipleship is the foundation for a student’s spiritual development, and I’m always excited to support their leadership, involvement in missions, and their deepening relationship with Christ.
Over the years, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to pastor students in Massachusetts, Illinois, Michigan, and now here in Iowa. I received my B.A. in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.
When I’m not in ministry, I love diving into genealogy, reading, enjoying worship music (even though I’m not a singer!), chatting with friends, and spending quality time with my dog, Hope.
